The Chemistry Land surface Atmosphere Soil Slab model is a conceptual computer model of the coupled land-atmosphere system during daytime. It is not only available as a research code in Python or Fortran, but CLASS also comes with a GUI, which makes it a very intuitive tool to use in education.

CLASS is used best in combination with the textbook Atmospheric Boundary Layer: Integrating Air Chemistry and Land Interactions, by Jordi Vilà-Guerau de Arellano, myself, Bart van Stratum and Kees van den Dries, and with the instruction clips on its website.
